Employers are required to record and report work-related fatalities, injuries and illnesses. This course is an introduction to the requirements of 29 CFR 1904, Recordkeeping and Reporting, for recording injuries and illnesses on the OSHA 300 Log and the OSHA 300-A Summary. Emphasis is placed on understanding what is a recordable injury, entering correct data and maintaining the form. You'll also learn how to calculate OSHA's Days Away, Restricted, and Job Transferred (DART) Rates.
