The Rise of the Climate Economy and how Contractors can benefit from available Energy Incentives and Other Credits and Incentives
Congress recently passed unprecedented energy legislation ushering in the upcoming Climate Economy. During this session you will learn about the Climate Economy and available energy incentives and other business credits and incentives that apply to businesses and some incentives for tax exempt organizations. Each of these provisions have specific target audiences, benefits, and unique characteristics, which are valuable financial tools for the construction industry.

• Introduction to potentially $1.7 trillion in energy incentives within the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.
• Review the Inflation Reduction Act enhancements of the Residential Energy Credit (Section 45L) and Building Energy Deduction (Section 179D).

• Review the new and improved Clean Energy Investment Tax Credit (Section 48) how it applies to those renovating and building new facilities.
